USB 5 Series Disc Brakes

SIBRE production USB disk brakes are more advanced than drum brakes, can react faster and are resistant to long term braking at high temperatures. The sinter pads used are longer lasting and more resistant to temperature and contamination than organic pads in drum brakes. The USB series disc brakes are closed with spring force, the brake is opened by powering the Eldro opener. The braking torque produced by the brake can be adjusted steplessly with the help of the scale on the spring tube. Lining wear compensation system is standard on USB disk brakes. USB series is produced in two models as USB 3-I and USB 3-III according to the braking torque capacity. Braking torque of up to 5,020 Nm with USB 3-I and up to 31,850 Nm with USB 3-III can be produced from series with similar design and operation. USB series brakes can be produced with manual opening system, “brake open” or “pad wear” sensor upon request and can be painted resistant to corrosive environments.
